These pages have been written for various fanzines and websites over the years and every now and then they get refreshed and revised. Essentially they are about David Bowie's 'Station To Station' album which was made in 1975 and released in early 1976. This represented a major change in his career at the time as he moved back to a European style and away from the American influences which he had been soaking up for the previous three years. It has always been my favourite Bowie album so I wanted to write about it.

The other section is a record of the Bowie shows I have been to between 1978 and 2004. It doesn't look like there will be any more to add to this list so this is more of an archive than a list that will be updated.

Earlier this year I downloaded an unreleased Bowie album called 'Toy' from a bit torrent using a wireless connection in a hotel room in Berlin and put it on my iPod to listen to 5 minutes later. 10 years ago a story like that would have made a good thriller but now it is commonplace. I found a magazine article which described 'Sound And Vision' as "25 years on it still sounds like the future"; I would describe several Bowie albums like that but the first timeless one for me is always 'Station To Station'. That is definitely a record that sounds like the future and always will do despite the waves of free and paid music which are available everywhere else.
